The Capitol 'Background Music' was issued in a series of 4 different titles in 1953 on catalog numbers 375-378. The prefixes were as follows: H (10" EP), EAP (7" EP) and T (12" LP). This release (T-378) 'Show Tunes' was the 4th volume in the series. The first volume (T-375) was 'Light and Lively', followed by (T-376) 'Songs We Remember' and the third (T-377) 'Bright and Bouncy'.
